Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre Condemns Foreign Interference
Ottawa, October 14, 2024: Pierre Poilievre, the Leader of the Conservative Party of Canada, has issued a strong statement following RCMP’s revelations of foreign interference, including from India. He called the allegations “extremely concerning” and emphasized the need to safeguard Canadian citizens from foreign threats. Poilievre urged the government to take criminal action against anyone threatening Canadians and criticized the Liberal government for its failure to protect the nation from external interference over the past nine years.

ਓਟਾਵਾ, 14 ਅਕਤੂਬਰ 2024: ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਕੰਜ਼ਰਵੇਟਿਵ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਨੇਤਾ, ਪੀਅਰ ਪੋਇਲੀਐਵਰ ਨੇ RCMP ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੀਤਿਆ ਖੁਲਾਸਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਇੱਕ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਬਿਆਨ ਜਾਰੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਭਾਰਤ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਤੇ ਹੋਰ ਦੇਸ਼ਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਆ ਰਹੀ ਦਖ਼ਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਨਿਖੇਧੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਹੈ । ਪੋਇਲੀਐਵਰ ਨੇ ਇਸਨੂੰ “ਬਹੁਤ ਚਿੰਤਾਜਨਕ” ਕਰਾਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਕੈਨੇਡਾਈ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਖ਼ਤਰਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਰਖਿਆ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ’ਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਹਰ ਵਿਅਕਤੀ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਕ੍ਰਿਮਿਨਲ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ, ਜੋ ਕੈਨੇਡਾਈ ਨਾਗਰਿਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਧਮਕੀ ਦੇ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪਿਛਲੇ ਨੌਂ ਸਾਲਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਲਿਬਰਲ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਵਿਦੇਸ਼ੀ ਦਖ਼ਲਅੰਦਾਜ਼ੀ ਰੋਕਣ ’ਚ ਅਸਫ਼ਲ ਰਹਿਣ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਆੜੇ ਹੱਥੀਂ ਲਿਆ।
