North Vancouver RCMP Seeking Public’s Help to Identify Robbery Suspect
The North Vancouver RCMP is investigating an assault and attempted robbery that took place outside a pharmacy on the 1200-block of Marine Drive on September 7th, 2024, around 2:50 p.m. A suspect attempted to steal items from a woman’s handbag on her mobility scooter. When a bystander intervened, both were assaulted. The suspect, described as an Indigenous male wearing a dark backpack, black baseball cap, beige shorts, black high-top sneakers, and a grey hoodie, fled eastbound along Marine Drive.
Although the suspect claimed to have a gun, no weapon was seen. The victims suffered minor injuries, and one was treated at Lions Gate Hospital.

ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮ ਨੇ ਬੰਦੂਕ ਹੋਣ ਦਾ ਦਾਵਾ ਕੀਤਾ, ਪਰ ਕੋਈ ਹਥਿਆਰ ਨਹੀਂ ਵੇਖਿਆ ਗਿਆ। ਪੀੜਤ ਨੂੰ ਚੌਟਾਂ ਆਈਆਂ ਹਨ, ਪਰ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਲਾਇਨਜ਼ ਗੇਟ ਹਸਪਤਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਇਲਾਜ ਲਈ ਲਿਆਂਦਾ ਗਿਆ।
