Punjab Mahila Congress Burns Ravneet Singh Bittu’s Effigy in Patiala
The Punjab Mahila Congress, under the leadership of state president Gursharan Kaur Randhawa, staged a protest in Patiala today, burning the effigy of Congress leader Ravneet Singh Bittu. The protest was in response to Bittu allegedly aligning with the BJP government and calling Rahul Gandhi a terrorist. Randhawa stated, “Before labeling someone else a terrorist, Bittu should introspect within himself.” The demonstration drew a significant crowd, highlighting the growing tensions within the party ranks.

ਅੱਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪ੍ਰਦੇਸ਼ ਮਹਿਲਾ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਦੀ ਅਧਿਆਕਸ਼ਾ ਗੁਰਸ਼ਰਨ ਕੌਰ ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ ਰਵਨੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਦਾ ਪੁਤਲਾ ਫੂਕ ਕੇ ਵਿਰੋਧ ਦਰਸਾਇਆ ਗਿਆ। ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਭਾਜਪਾ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਦਾ ਪੱਖ ਲੈਂਦਿਆਂ ਰਾਹੁਲ ਗਾਂਧੀ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਕਹਿਣ ਦੇ ਰੋਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ। ਰੰਧਾਵਾ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ, “ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਅੱਤਵਾਦੀ ਕਹਿਣ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਬਿੱਟੂ ਨੂੰ ਆਪਣੀ ਅੰਦਰੂਨੀ ਜ਼ਮੀਰ ‘ਤੇ ਝਾਤੀ ਮਾਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।” ਇਹ ਪ੍ਰਦਰਸ਼ਨ ਕਾਂਗਰਸ ਪਾਰਟੀ ਦੇ ਰੈਂਕਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਧ ਰਹੀ ਤਣਾਅ ਨੂੰ ਦਰਸਾਉਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
