President Droupadi Murmu addressed the Global Summit on the theme ‘Spirituality for a Clean and Healthy Society’ at Shantivan, Mount Abu. The President emphasized that spirituality is not about renouncing worldly affairs but about cultivating purity in our actions and thoughts.
She stressed that spiritual values foster both physical and mental well-being, contributing to a balanced and peaceful society. Highlighting the importance of purity in food and the environment, President Murmu applauded the government’s efforts in promoting natural farming. She called for collective action to address climate change and expressed hope that the summit would inspire pathways toward universal peace and harmony.

ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤਿ ਦ੍ਰੌਪਦੀ ਮੁਰਮੂ ਨੇ ਮਾਉਂਟ ਆਬੂ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤਿਵਨ ’ਚ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਗ੍ਲੋਬਲ ਸਮਿੱਟ ਨੂੰ ਸੰਬੋਧਨ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਆਧਿਆਤਮਿਕਤਾ ਦਾ ਮਤਲਬ ਧਾਰਮਿਕ ਹੋਣਾ ਜਾਂ ਸੰਸਾਰਿਕ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਹੱਥ ਖਿੱਚਣਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ, ਸਗੋਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਵਿਚਾਰਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਕੰਮਾਂ ਵਿਚ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਤਾ ਲਿਆਉਣਾ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਆਧਿਆਤਮਿਕ ਮੁੱਲ ਸਰੀਰਕ ਅਤੇ ਮਾਨਸਿਕ ਤੰਦਰੁਸਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਮਜ਼ਬੂਤ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਜੋ ਕਿ ਇੱਕ ਸੰਤੁਲਿਤ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਂਤ ਸਮਾਜ ਦੇ ਨਿਰਮਾਣ ਲਈ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ। ਰਾਸ਼ਟਰਪਤਿ ਨੇ ਖਾਦ ਅਤੇ ਵਾਤਾਵਰਣ ਦੀ ਪਵਿਤ੍ਰਤਾ ਉੱਤੇ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਕੌਮੀ ਖੇਤੀ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰੋਤਸਾਹਨ ਦੇਣ ਦੇ ਉਪਰਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਸ਼ਲਾਘਾ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਲਾਇਮਟ ਚੇਂਜ ਨਾਲ ਨਜਿੱਠਣ ਲਈ ਸਾਂਝੇ ਉਪਰਾਲਿਆਂ ਦੀ ਲੋੜ ਉੱਤੇ ਵੀ ਜ਼ੋਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।
